Ursprünglich aus Haiti, geboren in New York, aufgewachsen in Montreal, wohnt sie heute in Berlin. Rachelle Jeanty begann ihre Karriere, als sie mit Celine Dion als Hintergrundsängerin zwei Jahre auf Welttournee war. In den Jahren, in denen sie mit ihrer eigenen Band und mit anderen Superstars auftrat, entwickelte Rachelle Jeanty ihren einzigartigen Musikstil und ihre erstaunliche Vielseitigkeit, sei es Jazz und Gospel, ebenso wie Pop, Rock und Soul.
